I have been carving since fall of 1999. Most of my carvings are 90% chainsaw, 10% assorted hand tools and are made from fallen logs found around my property and others. Because of the amount of time involved, I am presently unable to do on-site carvings but will consider custom orders.
If my schedule allows, I will carve or display my work at special events or county fairs. I displayed and carved at the Eaton County Fair in Charlotte, Michigan as well as the Williams County Fair in Montpelier, Ohio in 2002. Several organizations have purchased special carvings as a fund raiser for raffle or auction and have had great success. You may want to consider the same for your organization.
